Abstract Survey assessments have found limited evidence of benefits executive attractiveness. We use an objective measure facial attractiveness that is correlated with survey but less noisy and identify several from previously in the general population heretofore empirically elusive among executives. examine effect both measures on compensation, promotion to CEO corresponding shareholder reaction, board chair. The identifies significantly positive labor market effects for all outcomes contrast do not correlate any outcome.
